Japanese Gen Mai Cha

Japanese sencha green tea with toasted and popped rice kernels.

This tea brews a golden yellow liquid that is sweet and nutty with a full bodied mouth feel. It is low in astringency and great for a special occasion or as an all dayer if you are seeking an alternative to regular green teas.

Brew using one scoop per cup and with freshly drawn, preferably filtered water, heated to 80 degrees. Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
