It has to be said that this blend of hibiscus, rosehips, pieces of apple and berries changed the way we approach (and drink!) herbal teas. This is a stunning brew when hot, full of comforting fruit notes, with a slight sharpness and great acidity.
When brewed cold it really stands out and is a very refreshing, and healthy alternative to those sugar laden drinks that are all too readily available. Does not contain and added sugar and is 100% caffeine free.
Can be cold brewed overnight in the fridge using a ratio of 15g tea to 750 mls of cold water. Our Hario Cold Brew Bottle is great for this purpose and can be found here. A great alternative to wine with a meal for those who are looking to cut back a bit on the alcohol. But if not, also makes a great base for cocktails!
Brew with freshly drawn, boiled water to a ratio of 1g of tea to 100ml of water and infuse for 3-4 minutes.Definitely no milk! If you like things abit sweeter, try this tea with a dash ofhoney (or our home made syrup, click here for recipe).
